Surprise!

=p it was a busy day at work, seeing this email from hubby simply made me smile :) LOVE YOU, MY PRECIOUS!

yeap, counting down to 10th March now :) gonna cook something for hubby.. no curry for him definitely! hehe :p

Happy Chinese New Year! how was everyone's cny?? =p i am so in the cny mood tat i dun feel like going back to work at all! lol~

The eve of CNY was spent picking up hubby from the airport :) den had reunion dinner at my uncle's plc, afterwhich headed to River Hongbao wif hubby. it wasnt' as crowded as we expected. we took a stroll, catching up wif lost time =p hubby sure had a fun time in india! heh..

1st day of CNY, woke up super early to start the visiting. had lunchie at my mum's bro place to have his zhao pai "prawn noodle"! its a tradition every year, hehe :p

dad took this while waiting for sis :) nice new look of our brand new house! =)

hubby picked me up ard 4 to visit his grandma :) more to gamble i guess? wahaha~ gambled till 1am... wanted to play mahjong, but hubby was tired liao. heh. it was fun nevertheless! really thankful tat hubby's relatives are so nice pple to be wif :)

i love them all! :):) we wen crazy taking photos, heh.

2nd day of CNY, waited for dear bro to be home before we headed out. poor bro, had to do duty on de 1st day! :(

we squeeze all de visiting so we were done by noon time :) tired! relatives came to our place for dinner & gambling, hehe. SHIOK!

3rd day of CNY, hubby and i wen out for movie - Just Follow Law! heh, very funny! lol~ couldnt do much shopping as we had plans thereafter. hubby sent me to his uncle's condo @ Simei for his granduncle's birthday celebration while he goes to his fren's place.

i was "dragged" to the gambling section de moment i step in, LOL! once there, i cant stop gambling! wahaha~ won a little $$.. hehe..

this was at the function room, preparing for dinner & having yu sheng :)

hubby's dear cousins :) a pity claire & candice wasnt able to come for de dinner :/

last wkend, we caught 2 more movies - Ghost Rider & The Protege. not too bad! :) had dinner togeda wif hubby's side @ Hongkong Street, den mahjong at nite :) Sunday - had early birthday high tea for mum @ Goodwood Park:) pics not wif me yet, hubby brought de camera to India, hehe =p

time to get back to work! sian~ no holidays for March at all! *faint* ooh, there's my birthday to look fwd to tho, hehe =p

another commercialized day =p with flowers.. chocolates.. all prices wen up soo much! :(

hubby called at 12midnite to send his wishes "over the phone". wad more can i ask for? (of cuz i wish he was by my side!) his small gesture touched me.. tat i couldnt get to slp.. i was still tossing n turning at 3am! -.-"

wen to work today, wif de almond chocolates i made de nite before.. =p its super addictive! this was taken wen de chocolate was forming:

this came as another surprise wen i receive de flowers! (not all de way from india of cuz.. hee)




i got elated and took close up pics of de flower, hehe =p

hubby used to complain tat after givin flowers to me, i'll jus chuck it one side in de car, and dun even bother to hold it out :( today.. i travelled togeda wif de flower, from my office, to Great World City, den to Tiong Bahru, den Bugis, and finally back home. (!!) de flower and i combed so many places rite? i felt like i was carrying a baby! heh. i cant tink of any words to describe how my heart felt =p but i felt reali paiseh holding de flowers into office :/ eee.... very shy! *grin*

thank you, my love :) it was a sweet surprise :):)

listening to our song, "tong hua" still do bring back sweet memories of how we started :) another 14days to our 2nd anniversary! :):)

The eventful weekend

finally... another 4 days till hubby's return :):)

been shopping (and jus shopping) the past week.. but nothin reali fancy me leh :/ sob sob. not reali in de CNY mood this year.. heard tat my brother has to go back on de 2nd day! :( oh well, some things are jus not within control.. boohoo~

met Jo & ex-colleagues for dinner last wk.. been awhile since i saw them! so hard to arrange where all can mit lar... this is not even full attendance... heh. one fell sick :(:(

den.. i wen down to JB last wkend with my parents :):) its soooo packed, as expected!! stayed there for half a day.. and... we encountered FIRE!! omg~ it was pretty scary in fact. i was in another shop trying on clothes, while my parents were at the cafe waiting for the food. i wen to find them after awhile.. and within 1 min.. there was a bomb sound! and someone screamed "FIRE!" i turned my head, saw this big big fire, and ppl running n pushing aldy! amidst the running, my father was actually holding on to the spoon! (cos he was eating wen the fire happened... -.-")

wad an experience! thank god, we're all fine... :) i tell you... my heart nvr beat so fast before =p *phew*

do i still wanna go there? ......... OF CUZ! lol...

we had dinner at some dunno-wad restaurant.. taking a breather after an eventful day! hehe.

its Saturday morning, 1241 am :) i tink de coffee i had earlier is keepin me awake =p jus got home from dinner wif peiling :) nice catching up!

was on leave since Thurs.. slept till so shiok! hee. hubby had some report to do, so i ran some errands for him and some shopping, but din buy anything, heh. met him for a late lunch @ Parkway. we wen home in de evening for him to settle his luggage. in de midst of it, he realise he missed out some stuff. so we travelled bk to his camp! :( *faint* this blur sotong... =p

wad was de last thg he did before sleepin? --> playin his game! sian 1/2. lol~ see, he miss his game more lor! haha~ he is always smiling wen he's involved in his game :) tho pek chek sometimes cos im left all alone.. but seeing him happy, i try to be happy for him too :) dun wan to quarrel wif him and spoil our mood :/

we woke up on Friday for lunch togeda wif his parents, den headed to de airport early :) its different seeing hubby lead a group of men tis time :) last nite before slpin, he mentioned feelin stress cos he has much more responsibilities now. he asked me how i felt bout him goin for this 'trip'.. i said "i feel proud of you. cos you are now a leader. im sure ur parents feel de same too". he smiled upon hearin tat, and prolly subconsiously became more confident bout himself :)he says he wans his son to noe tat his father was once a qualified Officer! hee =p

havin much more responbilities might mean.. havin more sacrifices. he plans leave for his men.. but he himself stays in camp to make sure things go well.. even if it means givin up his leave. he has to reach earlier than his men.. sometimes, it can be 1-2 hrs earlier! oh well~ you dun get higher $$ for nothin yah? after all, time = $$.

before we bid goodbye.. his tight hug made me felt very she bu de. i was tryin to be composed and control my emotions, but before i cld say "bye-bye", i was aldy tearing. sigh! the heart n brain jus wun cooperate :(

hubby: "be strong and take care of urself. i'll always be here supporting and loving you. i miss you, dear".

suddenly.. i felt a sense of loss.. the loss of hubby's presence. i wish.. things will go well for you, my love :) to lead.. and to excel.. jiayou wor! =) i'll be praying for your safety & awaiting your return! *muack*
